Character and Pass DLC Benefit Adjustment Pre-Notice

To help new and returning ballers adapt to 3on3 FreeStyle more easily, we'll be adjusting the benefits of Character and Pass DLCs to reduce the burden of character acquisition. These changes will be applied during scheduled maintenance on 8/19 and 8/26.
Please check the details below.
1. Character Pack DLC Benefit Change
1) Character Pack DLC Component Change
- Target Character : Genesa, Giant G, Blair, DJ Bagman, Yuna, Ox Queen, MC.CC, Nathan, Marisol, Siana, Kaji, Gena, Vandell, Ravieta, and Luna
Some DLC characters will be converted to Point characters.
- Target Character : Chloe, Clara, Jessie, Double D, and Lyoid
Based on platform’s policy, updated benefits will be applied differently. Please check below for more detail.
- PS : existing DLC will be reissued as a new DLC. Even if you’ve already purchased the same character DLC, the new DLC will be shown as available for purchase.
- XB/ST/EP : components of DLC will be replaced with new benefit. If you already purchased it, you won’t be able to purchase it again.
2. Compensation For Existing Purchase
If you’ve already purchased affected Character DLCs before 8/19 update, your owned character will be upgraded to P4 during 8/19 maintenance. If you own characters that are already P4 or higher, those characters will be excluded from the prestige upgrade.
- If you own characters that are excluded from prestige upgrade, we will send a compensation reward per excluded character during 8/19 maintenance.
- The compensation only applies to DLC characters affected by adjustment. Any characters being converted to Point characters are excluded from this compensation.
- Adjustment applies only to character’s prestige. Skill level will not be affected for this adjustment. Your existing skill levels will be kept as are, and any newly unlocked skills will be granted as level 1.
*Please note that characters obtained through Coins or Points will still be granted as P1. P4 benefit only applies to DLC characters.
2. Character Pass Change
1) Pass Benefit Enhancement
A new pass with greatly enhanced benefits compared to existing All-Star Access Pass, the All-Time Master Pass will be released on 8/26.
This new pass unlocks all current and upcoming characters as P4 excluding collab/limited characters. You can enjoy this benefit with a Single Purchase, no additional upgrades required.

As we are releasing new pass DLC, All-Star Access Pass sale will be terminated at 8/19.
2) Retroactive Application for Pass Holders
If you’ve previously purchased any character pass related DLC (Deluxe, Ultimate, 2025 All-Star Access Pass, or 2026 All-Star Access Pass), your benefit will be updated to All-Time Master Pass benefit WITHOUT purchase. Any remaining characters you own below P4 will be upgraded to P4 during 8/26 maintenance.
- If you own characters that are already P4 or higher, those characters will be excluded from the prestige upgrade.
- Professor and ANPAN are excluded from this compensation as they are collab characters.
- If you own characters that are excluded from prestige upgrade, we will send a compensation reward per excluded character during 8/26 maintenance. If you have already received compensation for 8/19 adjustment, no duplicate compensation will be granted for characters.
- Adjustment applies only to character’s prestige. Skill level will not be affected for this adjustment. Your existing skill levels will be kept as are, and any newly unlocked skills will be granted as level 1.
- Please note that this compensation is not including character unlock benefit. If you own 2025 / 2026 Access Pass, you need to purchase All-Time Master Pass to unlock future characters.
3. Episode Unlock Requirement Change
Some episodes unlock requirements will be adjusted during 8/19 maintenance.
- Some episodes unlock requirements will be partially changed to require P5 characters.
- Adjusted requirements will be applied during 8/19 maintenance.
- Episode rewards will remain the same as before.
- Any previously unlocked episodes will not be affected by this adjustment.
Please note that this adjustment is meant to align character unlock standards with episode access standards, and it will not affect episodes you've already unlocked.
Update detail is subject to be changed upon actual update.
