Happy New Year, and thanks for enjoying 3on3 FreeStyle.

We’ve always taken abuse in 3on3 FreeStyle very seriously, and that stance is no different for the issue that recently earlier this month. 

Although this is 3vs3 online basketball  game, we believe in “Sportsmanship”, which is to play fair and to respect for other players. 

We hope that all players are playing 3on3 FreeStyle with great sportsmanship like a real basketball game. As we hoped, you have 

already shown us that is something we believe and share together as we build the 3on3 FreeStyle community. To show our way of 

appreciation, we pledge to keep supporting the gameTo achieve this goal, we will continuously provide new contents, patch, updates,

and support the game moving forward.

What Happened?

Unfortunately due to an error on PlayStation Store(Europe region only), the “3on3 FreeStyle – 2018 PlayStation Plus Bonus Pack (Jan)”, 

which like all the other PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) benefit packages, was supposed to be available for one time purchase/download only, 

was enabled to be downloaded multiple times. Some users downloaded this pack once, but some purchased/downloaded multiple times, 

which caused many issues in the game like breaking the game balance and the ranking system.

What is a PlayStation Plus Bonus Package for 3on3 FreeStyle?

PlayStation Plus bonus package is available to all PS Plus members every month. For 3on3 FreeStyle, we leverage this feature to show 

our gratitude to our fans monthly via the PlayStation Store. Every month, our team offered free PS Plus benefits globally. It contains 

various items such as in-game FS Coin, items, and more.

What was “3on3 FreeStyle – 2018 PlayStation Plus Bonus Pack (Jan)”?

It contained the following in-game items:

- 4999 Coins

- Silver Card Pack Ticket *3

- Coin Buff Ball (1D)

What is going to happen?

This is an unfair advantage, and it causes critical problems for overall gameplay and the ranking system. Ultimately, it causes many 

issues to our community as well. Those who spent hours and hours in playing matched to collect FS Coins will feel deprived. Those 

who did not get these items, they will feel cheated. Once we resolve this issue with SIEE, it is inevitable that we will have to 

permanently ban the accounts from the game or reset the account for those who purchased/downloaded bonus pack unlimitedly as we 

believe it is still abusing and cheating in terms of gameplay. Those who purchased/downloaded numerous times have negatively 

impacted on the spirit of fair play and it diminishes the fun and enjoyment of other players.

To all users, who kept good faith and “Sportsmanship”, we apologize that this kind of incident happened. We hope you understand 

and support our beliefs and our practices regarding abusive behaviour.
